KCR nod for 1000 MW from Chhattisgarh.

Telangana Chief Minister K Chandrashekar Rao has given the green signal to Transco and the State Electricity Department to finalise the agreement with the Chhattisgarh government for purchase of 1000 MW of power. Telangana and Hyderabad are faced with power deficit and purchase of power from the neighbouring power surplus State is expected to bridge the demand-supply gap. According to a statement, during a review meeting, the CM also instructed the officials to promote solar roof top net metering in urban areas. Our Bureau
