Korea’s Samhyun to Establish EV Manufacturing Plant in Sriperumbudur.

Korean company Samhyun will establish an electric vehicle (EV) motor component factory in Sriperumbudur, near Chennai, after acquiring 11 acres of industrial land from Tata Chemicals. The financial details of the transaction were not disclosed.

The new facility will focus on manufacturing EV motor components, supporting India’s growing electric mobility sector.

Real estate consultancy JLL, which acted as the transaction advisor for the land deal, confirmed the development in a social media post.
