KPI Green Energy Wins 142 MW Floating Solar Project from Gujarat Government.

KPI Green Energy has won a 142 MWp (DC) / 110 MW (AC) floating solar EPC contract from the Gujarat State Electricity Corporation (GSECL).

The project will be set up at the Kadana Dam reservoir in Mahisagar district, Gujarat, marking a significant expansion of KPI Green Energy’s renewable energy portfolio into the high-potential floating solar segment, the company said.

Under the EPC contract, KPI Green Energy will handle the design, engineering, procurement, construction, and installation of the floating PV system. The project also includes grid-connection works, such as a 33 kV underground transmission line to the pooling station and 33/220 kV bays at the Kadana substation.
