L&T bags orders worth Rs. Rs 4,160 crore
L&T Construction on Monday said it has won orders worth Rs 4,160 crore across multiple business verticals in the current quarter.
The building and factories business has secured orders worth Rs 2,319 crore across the country. The major orders have been secured for the construction of residential towers in Delhi and Chennai, the statement said.
The scope of the projects includes civil, structural, mechanical, electrical and plumbing and finishing works. It has also secured an order for the development of a commercial space in Delhi.
In the Power Transmission and Distribution Business, new orders worth Rs 974 crore have been received.
The Water and Renewable Energy segment has bagged orders worth Rs 735 crore. A major order has been received from the Public Health Engineering Department of Rajasthan for regional water supply schemes. The scope includes turnkey construction of water supply network for 256 villages and five towns under the Ratangarh-Sujangarh Water supply project.
Other businesses of L&T Construction also received orders from Delhi Metro Rail Corporation for design, supply, installation, testing and commissioning of radio systems for its Phase III project, the company statement said.
Additional orders worth Rs 132 crore have also been received from various ongoing jobs.
