L&T Secures ₹1,000–2,500 Crore Contract for Dubai Road Development.

Larsen & Toubro (L&T) announced recently that its Transportation Infrastructure business vertical has won a major contract for a road development project in Dubai, UAE, adding to the company’s growing international infrastructure portfolio.

The project, classified as “significant” by L&T, is valued between ₹1,000 crore and ₹2,500 crore under the company’s internal order framework. It covers Phase-1 of the Latifa Bint Hamdan Street road development initiative undertaken by UAE authorities.

The scope includes upgrading the road corridor between Emirates Road (E611) and Sheikh Mohammed Bin Zayed Road (E311) by widening the existing two-lane dual carriageway into a four-lane dual carriageway in each direction to enhance capacity and traffic flow.

A major component of the project is the construction of a structural interchange at E311, designed for seamless traffic movement in all directions. The project also involves extending the corridor with a new four-lane dual carriageway and creating a dedicated interchange to facilitate U-turns and improve connectivity to nearby developments.

The project is expected to be completed within 36 months.
