Maharashtra government approves Nagpur Metro Rail Project

Maharashtra government has accorded in-principle approval to the elevated Nagpur Metro Rail project which is estimated to cost Rs. 7,350 crore.

Nagpur Improvement Trust has been declared as the implementing agency for the project.

He said the project proposal is under process for sending it with recommendations of the state government to the Centre for approval.
