"Maharashtra Signs MoUs Worth ₹17 Lakh Crore at Davos Summit"
Maharashtra has secured investment commitments totaling around ₹17 lakh crore from both Indian and global companies at the World Economic Forum in Davos. Among the major deals, Reliance Industries has signed MoUs worth over ₹3 lakh crore, marking a significant step in the state’s industrial and economic growth.
Other notable agreements signed by Maharashtra Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis include a ₹1 lakh crore commitment with Brookfield, along with agreements for ₹43,000 crore each with Sumitomo Realty, K Raheja Corp, Blackstone, and Temasek. Additionally, the Hiranandani group has pledged investments totaling ₹51,600 crore.
These agreements highlight Maharashtra’s growing appeal as an investment hub and its potential to drive economic growth across various sectors, including infrastructure, real estate, and technology. The state’s proactive approach to attracting foreign and domestic investments continues to enhance its position on the global economic stage.
