Maharashtra to Launch Seven New Industrial Policies, Says Fadnavis.

Maharashtra Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis announced recently that the state government will roll out seven new industrial policies in the coming months, targeting key sectors such as textiles, pharmaceuticals, and footwear. The move aims to further accelerate economic growth in the state.

Fadnavis made the announcement after inaugurating the International Business Conclave at Advantage Vidarbha 2026 in Nagpur, organised by the Association for Industrial Development (AID). Highlighting the rapid development of the Vidarbha region, he said Maharashtra is among India’s fastest-growing states.

“Here in Maharashtra, Memorandums of Understanding (MoUs) are not just signed on paper—they are actively implemented on the ground,” Fadnavis added, emphasizing the state’s commitment to turning investment pledges into tangible outcomes.

The new industrial policies are expected to further strengthen Maharashtra’s position as a hub for business and manufacturing, particularly in emerging sectors.
