Mahindra Aerostructures Secures Second H125 Fuselage Contract from Airbus.

India's aerospace manufacturing industry is expanding its footprint on the global stage, as Airbus Helicopters has awarded a contract to Mahindra Aerostructures Private Ltd (MASPL) to produce the main fuselage for its H125 helicopter.

This new agreement marks a significant step, as the rotary-wing aircraft will not only have parts manufactured in India but will also be assembled within the country. This move will further strengthen India's position in the global aerospace supply chain.

The H125, known for its versatility, is widely used for passenger transport, aerial work, and law enforcement. The company stated that the helicopter will also be available for the defense market in the future.

This is the second major contract Airbus has given to Mahindra in a short period. The announcement comes just over four months after MASPL secured a similar deal to manufacture fuselages for the H130 helicopter, highlighting the deepening partnership between the two companies and Airbus’s increasing commitment to Indian industry.
