Manam Chocolate Bags $9 Million Funding Round, Expands Retail Ambitions.
Premium craft chocolate brand Manam Chocolate has secured $9 million in a Series A funding round led by Omnivore, with participation from the Turner Morrison consortium.
The Hyderabad-based company said the fresh capital will be used to accelerate its expansion strategy, including the launch of new retail outlets across the Delhi NCR region over the next 12 months. The move is aimed at strengthening the brand’s presence in key urban markets and meeting growing consumer demand for premium craft chocolate products.
Founded in 2021 by entrepreneur Chaitanya Muppala, Manam Chocolate has emerged as a notable player in India’s craft chocolate segment. Muppala is India’s first Level 3 Certified Chocolate Taster accredited by the International Institute of Chocolate and Cacao Tasting (IICCT), US.
The funding marks a significant milestone for the company as it seeks to scale its retail footprint and deepen its presence in the country’s premium confectionery market.
