Manipal Hospitals Announces New Multi-Specialty Hospital in Nagpur.

Manipal Hospitals has announced plans to establish a new 350-bed multi-specialty hospital in Nagpur, following the signing of a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with the Maharashtra government.

The project, which represents an investment of approximately ₹700 crore, is expected to create around 3,000 new jobs. The MoU, signed in Mumbai, includes a commitment from the state government to fast-track all necessary permits, approvals, and fiscal incentives to ensure the project is completed on time.

The hospital is slated to begin operations in 2029, providing advanced medical services to residents of Nagpur and the surrounding areas.

Dilip Jose, Managing Director and CEO of Manipal Hospitals, stated that the expansion aligns with the network’s goal of making high-quality medical care accessible to everyone. "The new facility in Nagpur will bring high-quality, multidisciplinary healthcare closer to communities that need it most," Jose said. The hospital will offer a wide range of specialized services, including cardiology, neurology, orthopedics, and oncology.
