Nitin Gadkari okays flyover on Delhi-Jaipur highway.

Union Minister of Road Transport and Highways Nitin Gadkari has okayed the demand for construction of an elevated flyover on the Delhi-Jaipur highway (NH-8) from IMT Manesar to the National Security Guard (NSG) training centre.

Recently, Gadkari assured the villagers of Manesar, who met him after the intervention of Gurgaon MP and MoS (Defence) Rao Inderjit Singh, that he had accepted their demand and a survey would be carried out soon after which the flyover would be constructed.

The delegation of villagers led by state cooperative minister Vikram Singh Yadav met Gadkari and handed over a letter by the Gurgaon MP. The villagers told Gadkari that the widening of the highway had resulted in difficulties for them, exposing them to frequent traffic jams on the highway and rising accidents.
