Maruti Suzuki Expands Skill Development Push with Labs at 5 Gujarat ITIs.

Maruti Suzuki India Ltd (MSIL) recently announced plans to set up Advanced Manufacturing Labs (AMLs) at five Industrial Training Institutes (ITIs) in Gujarat as part of its efforts to strengthen industry-oriented skill development.

The country's largest carmaker has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with the Directorate of Employment and Training (DET), Government of Gujarat, to establish the facilities, the company said in a statement.

The advanced manufacturing labs will be set up at ITIs located in Palanpur, Bhavnagar, Surendranagar, Godhra and Dahod. The initiative is aimed at enhancing vocational training infrastructure and equipping students with skills aligned to modern manufacturing requirements.

The collaboration underscores Maruti Suzuki's focus on supporting skill development and improving the employability of technical education students through industry-relevant training and exposure to advanced manufacturing technologies.
