Melstarr Aviations Tech (MAT), a wholly owned subsidiary of Melstarr Information Technologies, is charting a new course into the aviation training sector with the ambitious plan to establish a state-of-the-art Flight Training Organization (FTO) in Karnataka.

The company has committed an initial investment of ₹300 crore to this significant undertaking, positioning it as one of the most substantial private sector initiatives within India's burgeoning pilot training industry.

According to Tarun Kashyap, Chief Operating Officer of MATPL, the company has already earmarked ₹100 crore for the first phase of development, with further investment scaling up over the subsequent three years. He emphasized the magnitude of this commitment, highlighting it as a landmark investment by a private entity in bolstering India's aviation training infrastructure and capacity. This move by Melstarr Aviations Tech is expected to play a crucial role in addressing the growing demand for qualified pilots in the rapidly expanding Indian aviation market.
