MetLife to open its offices in Kerala

Thiruvananthapuram: As part of its countrywide expansion drive, insurance major MetLife India Insurance Company on Wednesday announced opening of 12 new branch offices in Kerala.

With this expansion MetLife, which is one of India's largest growing insurance companies has its presence in 13 of the 14 districts in Kerala. The company has now established a network of 27 branches across 23 cities in Kerala.

The new branches would be opened in Kochi, Kottayam, Kannur, Thodupuzha, Kottarakkara, Adoor, Kodungallur, Ottappalam, Perinthalmanna, Mavelikkara, Edappal and Irinjalakkuda, a Metlife release said.

'Our countrywide branch expansion plans will bring us in close proximity to our customers. Kerala is an important market for us and the new offices will help our products to come within easy reach of our customers in the state', said Rajesh Relan, Managing Director of MetLife.

As a company that believed in multi-distribution approach for reaching customers across the length and breadth of the country, MetLife had engaged over 50,000 financial advisors all of whom had gone through rigorous training to understand customer needs and equipped to provide need-based financial solutions, the release said.
