"Milky Mist to launch large-scale milk processing unit in Maharashtra following Davos MoU."

Value-added dairy firm Milky Mist Dairy Food recently signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with the Government of Maharashtra to establish a large-scale milk processing and dairy products manufacturing facility in the state.

The agreement was signed at the ongoing World Economic Forum (WEF) Annual Meeting in Davos in the presence of Maharashtra Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis. The move marks a significant step in the company’s strategy to expand operations beyond southern India.

The total project investment is estimated at ₹1,130 crore and is expected to create direct employment for around 800 people. The facility will be developed in phases, with milk procurement sourced locally from within Maharashtra.
