Ministry of road transport and highways initiates work on setting up road regulator

Finance minister in budget speech had announced that the government would set up a road regulatory authority to address financial stressed, high construction risk and contract management in the road sector.

Going ahead with the proposal, the ministry of road transport and highways will begin in a month's time the process of getting feedback and suggestions from all stakeholders for setting up the road regulator.
