MP to appeal to Railway Minister for more trains.

MP R Dhruvanarayana said that with the Centre and State governments giving approval, a new rail route will be introduced between Bangalore and Chamarajanagar, soon.
Addressing a press meet, he said the governments have approved 142 km rail route and also sanctioned the necessary funds. The project to be taken up on the Bangalore-Kanakapura-Kollegal route to Chamarajanagar, is estimated at Rs. 1,382.78 crore, he said.The Chief Minister too has directed to identify land for the same and speed up the works. Union Railway Minister Mallikarjuna Kharge will participate in the foundation stone laying ceremony in the first week of February, Dhruvanarayan said.
