Mangalore: Mangalore Refinery and Petrochemicals (MRPL), a subsidiary of Oil and Natural Gas Corporation (ONGC) has planned to increased the name-plate capacity of the refinery from 9.69 mtpa (million tonnes per annum) to 11.82 mtpa.

Presently, MRPL is implementing phase-III refinery project for increasing the refining capacity from 9.69 mtpa to 15 mtpa.
