ANSR Announces Plans for GCC Innovation Campus in Vizag.

Andhra Pradesh Information Technology Minister Nara Lokesh has announced a significant development for the state's IT sector, signing a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with ANSR, a leading firm specializing in establishing and managing Global Capability Centers (GCCs). The agreement, formalized in Bengaluru on Tuesday, paves the way for an innovation campus within Visakhapatnam's Madhurawada IT cluster.

"The agreement with ANSR is to build an innovation campus in the Madhurawada IT cluster," Minister Lokesh stated. "Over the next five years, the campus is expected to generate more than 10,000 jobs."

ANSR has a proven track record, having facilitated the establishment of 135 GCCs across India, attracting approximately $2 billion in investments. This partnership is poised to significantly bolster Visakhapatnam's position as a burgeoning IT destination, fostering innovation and creating substantial employment opportunities in the region.
