The company operates in Project Management Consultancy (PMC), Engineering, Procurement, and Construction (EPC), as well as real estate.
Current Order Book Breakdown
NBCC’s Chairman and Managing Director (CMD), K P Mahadevaswamy, shared with investors that of the total consolidated order book, ₹70,400 crore belongs to NBCC, while the remaining portion is accounted for by its subsidiaries. The order book includes:
HSCL: ₹8,093 crore
HSCC: ₹5,915 crore
NSL: ₹200 crore
Contribution by Segment
Mahadevaswamy noted that 55% of the order book is attributed to PMC/EPC projects, while 45% comes from redevelopment activities. Redevelopment projects typically take 4-5 years to complete, whereas PMC projects require 1.5-2 years.
Key Projects and Milestones
NBCC has been entrusted with major redevelopment initiatives on behalf of the Central Government, including housing colonies in the national capital. Additionally, the company was recently appointed as the project management consultant for Supertech Ltd’s 16 real estate projects, valued at nearly ₹9,500 crore. This move is expected to provide significant relief to thousands of homebuyers.
Strategic Outlook
As NBCC accelerates its project execution and order acquisition, it remains a key player in India’s infrastructure development, balancing government redevelopment projects with commercial PMC and EPC ventures. The company’s robust pipeline and expansion efforts aim to solidify its position as a leader in the sector by achieving its ambitious ₹1 lakh crore target.
