NBCC Secures Fresh ₹109 Crore Project Management Assignments in J&K and Odisha.

State-owned NBCC (India) Ltd recently announced that it has secured two project management contracts worth a combined ₹108.85 crore.

The first contract, awarded by the National Horticulture Board, involves the construction of a Clean Plant Centre laboratory and office building at ICAR-CITH in Srinagar under the Clean Plant Program. The project is valued at approximately ₹20.42 crore.

The second and larger order has been received from the Directorate of Technical Education and Training, Cuttack, Odisha. Under the contract, NBCC will construct boys’ and girls’ hostels at various locations across Odisha. The project carries an estimated value of ₹88.43 crore.

In a regulatory filing, NBCC clarified that neither of the two newly awarded projects qualifies as a related party transaction.

The latest contracts come after the company disclosed project orders worth ₹85.64 crore in its July 17 exchange filing. The major order in that tranche was from National Aluminium Company Ltd (NALCO), valued at ₹51.70 crore, for the construction of academic blocks for Delhi Public School, CISF barracks and other associated infrastructure at Nalco Nagar Township.

The NALCO project is being executed on a deposit work-cum-EPC mode and is aimed at relocating the DPS Senior Wing and CISF Colony within the township premises.
