NCC secures ₹6,829 crore contract from Coal India subsidiary.

NCC Ltd has secured a ₹6,828.94 crore contract from Central Coalfields Ltd (CCL), a subsidiary of Coal India Ltd, for coal and overburden extraction and transportation from one of its mining projects in Jharkhand.

In a regulatory filing, NCC said it received a letter of acceptance dated October 24 from CCL for the project. The work involves extraction and transportation of overburden and coal from the Amrapali open-cast project located in the Chandragupt area of Jharkhand, the company stated.
