Nepal: 5 water projects near completion

Damauli (Nepal): The construction of five drinking water projects being constructed under the financial support of Rural Drinking Water and Sanitation Development Board and technical assistance of Nepal Red Cross Society, Tanahu, has reached final stage.

Section Officer at NRCS, Tanahu, Shivkaji Piya said the construction of the projects at Chintutar, Shivnagar, Kalibhanjyang, Chhabise and Majhphant is near completion. The projects are being constructed at the cost of Rs 6.5 million. The projects will benefit over 2,300 people in the villages.
