Nestlé Boosts Output with Munch Production Line at Sanand.

Nestlé India recently announced an expansion of its manufacturing capacity at its Sanand facility in Gujarat, with an investment of ₹225 crore to add a new production line for its chocolate brand Munch.

The company said in a regulatory filing that the investment, to be funded through internal accruals, will add an estimated capacity of about 8,300 tonnes per annum. The new Munch production line has already been installed at the Sanand factory as part of its broader capital expenditure plan spanning greenfield and brownfield projects aimed at meeting future demand.

Nestlé India also noted that Munch is manufactured at multiple facilities across its network, with the Sanand expansion forming a key part of its capacity augmentation strategy.
