Nestlé India to Invest ₹90 Crore in Gujarat to Expand Maggi Production.
Nestlé India Limited has announced a ₹90 crore expansion of its Sanand factory in Gujarat to boost production of its flagship Maggi Noodles brand.
In a regulatory filing dated April 1, 2026, the company outlined plans to add a new production line with a capacity of 20,500 tons per annum, increasing the facility’s total output from approximately 141,600 tons. The expansion comes as the factory operates at about 80% capacity utilization.
The project will be funded entirely through internal accruals and is expected to be commissioned during the Financial Year 2026-27. Nestlé India said the move is part of its broader capital expenditure strategy, aimed at supporting growing demand and reinforcing its leadership in the instant noodles segment.
