New hydroproject in Nepal

Chautara: Construction of the 3-MW hydropower project has begun in Tatopani VDC of Sindhupalchowk district.

Nikhil Hydropower Pvt Ltd has undertaken the construction from the private sector, including investment by local residents and bank loan.

The Rs 450 million project is expected to be complete within 30 months, said Amrit Kumar Khadka, chairman of Nikhil Hydropower.
