NMDC awards contracts to L&T, MEIL for steel plant.

NMDC has awarded a Rs. 356.85 crore order to L&T for design, engineering and construction of five million Cu.m reservoir and water treatment plant.

This is part of the iron ore miner's three million tonne steel plant coming up at Nagarnar in Chhattisgarh.

The company awarded another order to Megha Engineering & Infrastructure and Koya & Company Construction Ltd. worth Rs. 314 crores for construction of an intake well of capacity 10,000 Cu.m/ hr on River Sabri and cross country pipeline of length 34 km for its steel project.
