NMDC Reports 4.51 Million Tonnes of Iron Ore Production in November..

National Mineral Development Corporation (NMDC) reported a rise in its iron ore production for November, reaching 4.51 million tonnes, up from 3.83 million tonnes in the same month last year.

However, the cumulative production for the year up to November stands at 26.06 million tonnes, slightly lower than the 27.31 million tonnes produced during the same period last fiscal year. Sales for the same period saw a marginal increase, rising to 28.84 million tonnes compared to 27.78 million tonnes in the previous year.

NMDC’s production and sales figures indicate continued activity in the iron ore sector, despite the slight decline in cumulative production.
