NTPC commissions 800 MW unit of Kudgi Super thermal power plant.

NTPC Ltd. has commissioned the Unit-1 of 800 MW of Kudgi Super Thermal Power Project on December 25.

This is the first 800 MW unit commissioned by NTPC.

With this unit going on stream, the total installed capacity of NTPC on standalone basis has gone up to 41,062 MW and that of the NTPC group to 48,028 MW, the country biggest power sector player informed BSE.
