NTPC Completes Trial Operations for 660 MW BARH Power Unit, Stage-1.

NTPC Limited has successfully completed the trial operation of Unit-3, a 660 MW capacity unit of its Barh Super Thermal Power Project, Stage-1 (3x660 MW). Following the achievement of all approved norms and necessary regulatory approvals, the unit has now been officially included in the installed capacity of NTPC.

This significant addition enhances NTPC's generation capabilities across the nation. With the commissioning of this unit, NTPC's total installed capacity now stands at 60,926 MW on a standalone basis, and 82,028 MW for the NTPC Group. This expansion underscores NTPC's ongoing commitment to meeting India's escalating energy demands and strengthening the country's power infrastructure.
