NTPC Green Energy Signs MoU with Singareni Collieries for Renewable Energy Projects.

NTPC Green Energy Limited (NGEL), a subsidiary of NTPC Limited, signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with The Singareni Collieries Company Limited (SCCL) on 19th November 2025 in Hyderabad.

The MoU was exchanged in the presence of N. Balram (IRS), Chairman and Managing Director of SCCL, along with senior officials from both NGEL and SCCL. The agreement aims to explore joint business opportunities in the development of renewable energy projects, including solar, wind, and hybrid projects with or without storage, as well as initiatives in green hydrogen, green derivatives, and green mobility.

The partnership reflects a shared commitment to expanding India’s renewable energy landscape and accelerating the transition to sustainable energy solutions.
