NUCFDC Signs MoU with CSC e-Governance to Equip UCBs with Secure Digital Infrastructure.

The National Urban Cooperative Finance and Development Corporation Ltd (NUCFDC) has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with CSC e-Governance Services India Ltd (CSC SPV) to accelerate the digital transformation of the urban co-operative banking (UCB) sector.

Under this partnership, NUCFDC, the umbrella organization for India’s UCBs, aims to provide secure and compliant digital infrastructure to strengthen the sector’s technological capabilities.

The implementation will be carried out in phases, beginning with Aadhaar-based eKYC, eSign, digital signature certificates, DigiLocker integration, e-stamp services, cloud hosting, data center management, and cybersecurity solutions. Later phases will focus on launching internet and mobile banking, kiosk-based services, and digital communication platforms.

This collaboration is expected to modernize the urban co-operative banking sector, improving efficiency and customer convenience through advanced digital solutions.
