Odisha Clears Major Investment Plans Worth ₹4,510 Crore to Boost Employment.
The Odisha government recently approved 23 investment proposals valued at ₹4,510.65 crore, with the potential to create employment for 10,122 people, officials said.
The approvals were granted during a meeting of the State Level Single Window Clearance Authority (SLSWCA), chaired by Chief Secretary Anu Garg.
The projects cover a diverse range of sectors, including wood-based industries, chemicals, apparel, technical textiles, pharmaceuticals, medical devices, manufacturing, aluminium downstream industries, electrical equipment, food and agro-processing, as well as tourism and hospitality. The move underscores Odisha’s focus on boosting industrial growth and job creation across multiple industries.
