Odisha to Host GoCarin's New Feed Manufacturing Facility.

GoCarin, a burgeoning livestock management startup, is setting up Odisha’s largest cattle feed manufacturing plant in Balasore. The facility, which will focus on sustainable feed formulations, is expected to become operational by November of this year, according to GoCarin's founder, Ramanuj Pande.

Pande shared in an online interaction with BusinessLine that the decision to build a new, larger plant was driven by the full utilization of their existing smaller facility in Bardhaman, West Bengal. "Its capacity is being fully utilised and there was a need for a bigger plant," he explained.

GoCarin has acquired an acre of land from the Odisha government for the new venture. The Balasore plant is designed to be fully automated with Internet of Things (IoT) capabilities, signifying a leap in modern feed production. The existing West Bengal plant will continue its operations alongside the new, larger facility in Odisha.
