Ola Electric Signs First Utility-Scale Energy Storage MoU with Axis Energy.

Ola Electric Mobility Ltd recently announced the signing of a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Axis Energy to explore the deployment of up to 20 GWh of battery energy storage systems (BESS) by 2032.

The agreement marks the first large-scale partnership for Ola Mahashakti, the company's upcoming energy storage platform for commercial, industrial and utility-scale applications. Ola Electric said the platform is scheduled to be launched on August 15.

According to the company, the partnership provides an early indication of the market demand that Ola Mahashakti is expected to address and positions utility-scale battery energy storage as a significant new growth opportunity for the company.
