Orbit Exports to Build 2MW Captive Solar Plant with K&H Construction.

Orbit Exports Limited has announced its foray into renewable energy, with its Board of Directors approving an agreement to develop a 2-megawatt (MW) captive solar generating plant (SCGP) in the South Gujarat region. The project will be established as a Special Purpose Vehicle (SPV) in collaboration with M/s. K&H Constructions Private Limited.

Orbit Exports will hold a 26% equity stake in the SPV. The company has formally entered into a Share Subscription Cum Shareholder's Agreement to acquire 26% of the share capital of K&H Construction Private Limited, which will serve as the "Target Company" for this initiative.

This move signifies Orbit Exports' commitment to sustainable practices and potentially aims to secure a more reliable and environmentally friendly power source for its operations. The development of a captive solar plant will allow Orbit Exports to generate a significant portion of its own electricity, potentially leading to cost savings and a reduced carbon footprint.
