Orient Green Power commissions biomass projects.

Orient Green Power Company Limited (OGPL) announced that its operating capacities now exceed 500 mega watt. This comes after the recent commissioning of three Biomass units in Narsinghpur (MP) – an unit of the company and Kishanganj,(Rajasthan) and Marikal (AP) units through its subsidiaries.

As of date, the Company’s operating capacity stands at 502 MW comprising 416 MW of Wind assets and 86 MW of Biomass assets.

Orient Green Power, part of the Shriram Group, has its wind farms located in Tamil Nadu, Andhra Pradesh, Gujarat and Karnataka.

The company is also a leading biomass energy business with a capacity of 86 MW across its plants located in Tamil Nadu, Rajasthan, Madhya Pradesh, Andhra Pradesh and Maharashtra.
