Orissa govt clears 4 major projects

The State Level Single Window Clearance Authority (SLSWCA) of Orissa clears four projects.


The proposals are:

SMV Breweries’ plans to set up a soft drinks bottling plant at Attabira in Bargarh district at a cost of Rs 59.61 crore.

Essar Power Orissa received the approval to set up a 120 MW captive power plant (CPP) at Paradip at an investment of Rs 683 crore.

Investa Ventures’ proposal to set up a unit for manufacturing LED (light emitting diodes) bulbs and tubes at Chandaka Industrial Estate over eight acre at an investment of Rs 190 crore. The project campus will also house an incubation centre where engineers and scientists can carry out research on LED technologies.

The committee also aproved UltraTech Cement’s proposal to raise its capacity from one million tpa to three million tpa at a cost of Rs 345 crore.
