Paras Defence Subsidiary Wins ₹46-Crore Defence Ministry Order for Anti-Drone Systems.
Paras Anti-Drone Technologies, a subsidiary of Paras Defence and Space Technologies Ltd., has secured a defence order worth approximately ₹46.19 crore from the Ministry of Defence for the supply of advanced anti-drone systems to the Indian armed forces.
Recently on Monday, the contract includes the provision of drone jammers and is slated for completion by March 2026. The systems will be developed and supplied indigenously, underscoring India’s focus on self-reliance in defence technology.
The order marks a key milestone for Paras Anti-Drone Technologies in the fast-growing counter-unmanned aerial vehicle (UAV) sector. The deployed systems are designed to detect, track, and neutralise hostile drones in real time — a critical capability as security threats from UAVs used in surveillance, smuggling, and potential attacks continue to rise.
This deal further strengthens the company’s position in the defence electronics and homeland security space, amid increasing demand for counter-drone technologies globally.
