New Delhi: The proposal of the Airports Authority of India to modernise the Kolkata airport has been approved by the Public Investment Board (PIB) of the Government. The ‘more than Rs 1900-crore’ proposal will have to be cleared by the Cabinet Committee on Economic Affairs before AAI can start work at the airport.
