PM Modi Re-Launches Amaravati Construction, Promises Swift Completion.
Prime Minister Narendra Modi has reaffirmed the Central government's commitment to the development of Amaravati, pledging to support the Andhra Pradesh government in completing the construction of the new capital city in record time, alongside the ongoing Polavaram project.
Speaking at a public event on Friday, where he formally re-launched various construction works for the Greenfield Amaravati project and inaugurated infrastructure projects worth ₹60,000 crore across the state, Prime Minister Modi emphasized the significance of Amaravati in realizing the "Swarnandhra Pradesh Vision" and contributing to the broader goal of "Viksit Bharat."
"The construction of Amaravati will not only boost the state's development but also reflect the spirit of a developed India," Modi stated, assuring the state government of unwavering support from the Centre to expedite the project's completion.
The Prime Minister highlighted India's position as the world's fastest-growing economy, particularly in infrastructure development. He cited the rapid progress in railway and road projects, emphasizing the transformative changes witnessed in the railway sector over the past decade, from which Andhra Pradesh has significantly benefited.
Modi's renewed commitment to Amaravati signifies a renewed push for the long-delayed project and aims to accelerate the development of the state's new capital, contributing to its economic and infrastructural growth.
