Pondy Oxides Commissions First Phase of New Smelter Unit in Tamil Nadu.

Pondy Oxides and Chemicals Ltd, a leading player in the recycling industry, has commenced commercial production at the first phase of its new smelter unit in Thervoykandigai, Tamil Nadu, effective April 16, 2025.

The newly launched phase has an annual capacity of 36,000 metric tonnes and is part of a larger project with a total licensed capacity of 72,000 metric tonnes per annum. According to the company, the fully automated and advanced facility is the first of its kind in India.
