Chennai: Erode-based Ponni Sugars is planning to set up a cogeneration unit at its sugar mill. The investment for the cogeneration unit will be funded through internal accruals and the balance through debt.
The facility, when commissioned in September 2011, will add over Rs 50 crore a year to the top line and strengthen its sugar mill operations.
