Power and Instrumentation Gujarat Secures ₹70.54 Crore Order.

Power and Instrumentation (Gujarat) Limited has been awarded a significant work order valued at ₹70.54 crore (including GST) from Ajmer Vidyut Vitran Nigam Limited. The contract is for a turnkey project to develop distribution infrastructure for on-grid electrification in tribal villages across nine circles of Ajmer Discom.

The project, which falls under the Dharti Aaba Janjatiya Gram Utkarsh Abhiyana (DA-JGUA) and the RDSS scheme, will involve the supply, erection, installation, testing, and commissioning of all necessary materials and equipment. The goal is to bring electricity to un-electrified households and public institutions in the districts of Ajmer, Banswara, Bhilwara, Chittorgarh, Dungarpur, Pratapgarh, Salumbar, Sikar, and Udaipur.

This order highlights Power and Instrumentation Gujarat's role in supporting national and state initiatives to expand access to electricity and improve infrastructure in rural and tribal regions.
