Power Mech Projects Wins Work Order from Adani Power.

Power Mech Projects has secured a significant order worth Rs. 294 crore (excluding GST) from Adani Power Limited (APL). The contract is for overhauling services, condition assessment, erection, testing, commissioning, and manpower assistance for the Performance Guarantee Test of the Steam Generator (SG) and Steam Turbine Generator (STG) at Unit 3 and 4 of the 2x660 MW Korba Phase-II Thermal Power Project. The deal also includes an incentive of Rs 1.25 crore per unit, contingent upon achieving synchronization within the stipulated timeframe.

This follows a similar achievement on December 26, 2024, when Power Mech secured an order worth Rs 186 crore from Jaiprakash Power Ventures. The contract covers field operation and maintenance services for the 2x660 MW Jaypee Nigrie Super Thermal Power Plant in Madhya Pradesh, set to run over a five-year period from January 1, 2025, to December 31, 2029.

The company also reported a strong financial performance for Q2FY25, posting a 35.6% year-on-year increase in consolidated net profit, reaching Rs 69.51 crore compared to Rs 51.26 crore in Q2FY24. Revenue from operations rose 11.04%, from Rs 932.49 crore to Rs 1,035.49 crore, while profit before tax (PBT) increased by 25.71%, totaling Rs 100.90 crore in Q2FY25.
