R Power's Butibori unit goes live.

Reliance Power has said its 600 MW Butibori power plant is now operational. The plant has commenced supplies under a power purchase agreement for 25 years with Reliance Infrastructure, a Mumbai distribution licensee.

The plant has a fuel supply agreement from the Western Coal Fields. Vidharbha Industries Power, a subsidiary of Reliance Power, developed the plant.
