In a significant development, the joint venture between Rail Vikas Nigam Ltd (RVNL) and M/s URC Construction Pvt. Ltd. (URC) has successfully emerged as the Lowest Bidder (L1) for the "Part Design and Construction of Elevated Viaduct, Five Elevated Metro Rail Stations (namely Shaheed Bagh, Khajrana Chauraha, Bengali Chauraha, Patrakar Colony, and Palasia Chauraha), and Ramp between Chainages 31+755 to 34+898.061 & 3+669.547 to 5+862" for the Indore Metro Rail Project.

The order, valued at Rs. 543,00,00,000.00 (Rupees Five Hundred Forty-Three Crore Only), excludes GST, with RVNL holding a 51% stake and URC holding the remaining 49%. This successful bid marks a significant step forward for the RVNL-URC joint venture, highlighting their expertise and competitiveness in the infrastructure and metro rail construction sector. The project's scope encompasses the design and construction of crucial metro rail components, contributing to the advancement of the Indore Metro Rail Project.
