Rajiv Gandhi International Airport Unveils Exclusive New Terminal for Private Jets

Rajiv Gandhi International Airport has launched a new General Aviation (GA) Terminal tailored for private jet owners and passengers.

Pradeep Panicker, CEO of GMR Hyderabad International Airport, highlighted that the terminal aims to redefine luxury travel. "The facility will set a new standard for an extraordinary travel experience, offering unparalleled comfort, convenience, and bespoke services for our high-net-worth travelers," he said in a press release.

Hyderabad, with its substantial concentration of ultra-high-net-worth individuals and strong pharmaceutical and IT sectors, has seen a rise in private jet traffic due to the expansion of Global Capability Centers by multinational corporations.

The GA terminal covers 11,234 square feet and is located adjacent to the RGIA terminal. It features a private entrance, a dedicated parking area, and a design that blends classical architecture with Indo-Saracenic and Indo-Gothic styles. The terminal’s interiors are crafted to provide a luxurious and comfortable atmosphere.

The facility includes amenities such as a lounge, a private lounge, and separate arrival and departure corridors, catering to both domestic and international General Aviation passengers.
