Raptee.HV Plans Five-City Expansion, Boosts Production Capacity.

Electric motorcycle startup Raptee.HV is stepping up its expansion plans with a five-city retail rollout and a significant increase in manufacturing capacity as it gears up for its next phase of growth.

The Chennai-based company recently opened its first experience centre outside Tamil Nadu in Bengaluru, marking the beginning of its national retail expansion. It plans to enter Kochi and Hyderabad by December, followed by Pune and Gurugram by the end of the current financial year.

Alongside its retail expansion, Raptee.HV is scaling up production of its electric motorcycles. The company expects output to reach around 100 units a month by September and increase to 300 units a month by December, before ramping up to 1,500 units a month by the end of FY27.

“Our production is expected to scale up to about 100 units a month by September and then to 300 units a month by December. By then we want to be in Cochin and Hyderabad as well. By the end of the financial year we want to be in Gurgaon and Pune,” Raptee.HV co-founder and Chief Executive Officer Dinesh Arjun told businessline.

The expansion reflects the startup's strategy to strengthen its retail footprint across key urban markets while scaling manufacturing capacity to meet anticipated demand for its electric motorcycles.
